Punam began her career in the health and fitness industry over 20 years ago, teaching aerobics and running a women’s health centre in India, working in sports management in Canada, and teaching and studying yoga in New York City. In 2006, Punam became a holistic health counsellor certified by the Integrative Institute of Nutrition, New York where she studied an integrated approach to nutrition. Certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners as a holistic health counsellor, Punam’s belief in the philosophy of nutrition and diet coupled with a holistic approach to health has led to the development of SpiceBox Organics. Passionate about sustainable and organic food production, Punam aims to source products with minimal carbon footprint, and to encourage fair-trade practices among producers and suppliers. During her free time, Punam enjoys trekking and cooking for friends and family.
