How long does shipping take?

Are all Café food at SpiceBox Organics organic?

All food served at SpiceBox Organics’ Café are at least 98% organic.

What are the milk choices for coffees?

We offer Oat, Coconut, Almond, Soy, Macadamia and Whole milk. It is free of charge to switch to any milk of your choice.

Are your cafés dog - friendly?

We welcome all furry friends at our locations.

Is there wifi in your cafe?

Yes, we offer free wifi to patrons who would like to work in our cafe with a purchase of any beverage.

Why are all meals from your café section on the website frozen?

We make our meals fresh on a daily basis, and we freeze them immediately to lock-in its freshness. By freezing our meals, you are able to keep them for a longer period, and also helps our kitchen operations with avoiding food wastage.

Are there any special deals and rates on Café food?

Between 6pm-9pm, all of our organic homemade vegan meals are HK$50. This includes all Salads, Vegan Chilli, Cashew Lasagne, Roti Rolls, Keto Biryani, and Traditional Biryani. All Desserts and Hummus Dips are 20% off. Must be purchased in-store.

How to store spices properly?

You may keep spices in an airtight container in a dry space away from sunlight.

Do spices have an expiration date?

Spices can last up to three to five years. The color may lighten over time and may lose fragrance slightly, but it will still be safe to consume past its date.

What should I do with the leftover / old spices?

You can store them in airtight containers for
further use or mix spices to create different flavors or rubs!

Can I freeze lentils / spices?

Yes you can. Make sure to use a slightly bigger bag. Generally can be frozen for up to 6-12 months.

How do I prevent spices from clumping up?

For big quantities of spices, use airtight containers and store in cool and dry places.
For small quantities of spices, can be placed in shakers: add some uncooked rice or any grains / beans to help absorb moisture.

Are spices gluten free?

There are two reasons why ground spices like curry powder, turmeric, paprika, and cinnamon might contain gluten: they were either contaminated in the factory, or the manufacturer added a little flour to them later to prevent caking.

At SpiceBox Organics, we pride ourselves with our spices. All of our spices are gluten free and certified organic without any additives, coloring or preservatives.

Where are the spices originated?

Our spices originated mostly from India, some from the United States and Europe. If you want to know a specific spice origination, please ask our store staff.

How do you guarantee your food ingredient quality standards?

At SpiceBox Organics Café, not only do we use 98% organic ingredients, but every ingredient used has been meticulously sourced by management to ensure it does not contain artificial colors, flavors, additives or preservatives. This sourcing philosophy also applies to all retail products sold at SpiceBox Organics.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Local orders: 24-48 hours

International orders: 7-21 days

Are we allowed to return an unwanted item?

Perishable items cannot be returned.

Non-perishable items can be considered on a case-by-case basis. We do not accept refunds at this time, and if we approve a return, the item can be exchanged or store credit can be issued. Can I edit my order after purchasing online?

SUSTAINABILITY EFFORTS

What steps are taken at SpiceBox Organics to ensure sustainable business practices?

We take sustainable business practices seriously! Over the years, we have transitioned many of our products to our ‘Zero Waste Bulk Section’, where customers can bring their own containers and purchase what they need by weight. In addition, we have improved our kitchen operations to avoid food wastage; all our food containers are biodegradable and or recyclable; and have always sourced products locally when possible. We also offer a 10% discount on all Café Beverages if customers bring their own takeaway cup to help further reduce waste. Furthermore, we have joined FoodPanda’s newly launched reusable container program and have been selected to a Gold certification level for their Sustainable Restaurant Certification program.

What are SpiceBox Organics’ sustainability goals?

We hope our internal operations will be plastic-free by 2025!

We have been awarded 3 Stars by Food Made Good Hong Kong, the highest one could achieve for sustainability business practices, and we hope to continue to surpass our ratings during each audit.

EVENT CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

What is the event cancellation and refund policy?
  1. All event registrations are final. No cash refunds will be issued for cancelled registrations.
  2. If you need to cancel your registration, you may request a store credit for the full registration fee. Store credits are valid for 3 months from the date of issue and can be used towards SpiceBox Organics physical shops.
  3. If you are unable to attend a class you are registered for, you may send a substitute in your place. Please let us know 24 hours iN advance of event date.
  4. Classes may be cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event a class is cancelled by the organizer, a full refund or store credit will be issued at the SpiceBox Organics’ discretion.
