Medjool dates, known as the king of dates, are the fruit of Medjool cultivar of date palm trees, known as Phoenix dactylifera. The tree is native to Iraq and ancient Persia, however it is now widely grown around the world. Our organic Medjool dates originate from the US. Medjool dates are included in the “soft category” of dates as they are picked early in the ripening season, making them easier to eat.<\/p>\n
